I've been using argan oil for more than 10 years so I'm pretty familiar with it. The way to tell if it's pure is if it has a slightly nutty smell, as it comes from a nut. A lot of companies mix argan oil with other oils and I haven't had good luck with those so I stick to ones that are 100% argan. And I would say that this one is. In fact, it almost smells too nutty. I use argan oil for my face, body, hair, and cuticles -- it's great because it absorbs really well and doesn't leave an oily film on your skin. Of course, everyone is different. I'm over 40, have very dry skin, and live in a dry climate so I like things that really moisturize my skin. And my skin loves argan oil. I don't break out or have any reactions to it, which is another reason I believe this one is pure. I have reactions to some other oils and this one hasn't given me any issues so far.My only reason for giving it four stars is that the smell is stronger than any other argan oil I've used. So much so that I'll probably keep this one for using on my hair and body because when I put it on my face, I can smell it for a while afterward. And nuts aren't something I want to smell when going to bed. I'm not sure if they process it differently and that's why it smells so strong, but I wanted to mention it because some people are sensitive to scents. This is a natural scent, but a scent all the same.If you don't mind the scent, this is a great oil for dry skin and will also work on dry hair. But use it very sparingly on your hair or your it will look oily -- I usually put a couple of drops in my hand, rub them together, and then lightly scrunch the oil into the ends of my hair where it's the most dry. If my hair is kind of frizzy looking that day, I'll then tap what's left over on the rest of my hair. If you have straight hair, you can comb it through to distribute it, but my hair is curly so I just scrunch a bit in.After using this for a few days, I can say it's a good argan oil and I recommend it if you're looking for one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

My hands looked so revived and moisturized after rubbing this in and it lasted for the whole day. After daily use on my hands I noticed a tremendous difference in How soft and moisturized they were! I tried this on my hair which did help with the frizz but be careful because a little does go along way and if you use to much your hair will have a greasy appearance. I use it on my oily combo skin at night and its great for dry hands and cuticles. This argan oil is hydrating and does great things for my skin and hair, however its a heavier than other argan oils I've tried and it doesn't seem like it absorbs as quickly. My skin is left feeling greasy and I have to be careful to only use a little bit when I'm styling with it or it will make my hair look oily (more so than when I use other oils). That being said, its a nice product and a good affordable option.

I am surprised by how much I love this! I've been using argan oil off and on for about two or two and a half years from another company. The other company, however, was getting too expensive for me, so I was excited when I saw this brand to try. Granted, the bottle is small at only 2 ounces, but it's still a decent price for pure argan oil.And the oil itself!! Totally true as the label reads. The oil is very lightweight and delicate feeling, much lighter than the oil I had been using, and it feels wonderful! I it primarily on my face and particularly around my eyes. It's so delicate that it feels really nice to use, like I'm giving myself a spa day every day. It's pretty awesome. I love this stuff, and I totally recommend!

I usually purchase this product quite often. But this time, it had a weird vegetable oil like texture that had no smell. It was a yellowish color and was odorless. I was very disappointed because this product is very hard to come by and I was excited to see it on Amazon. It's almost like someone poured the Argan oil and replaced it with something else.Anyway, its going back.
