Good Shelf but know a few things...
First, these shelves are what they're sold to be- shelves. They're heavy and feel like good quality. The directions are where it's a little dicey. Installing the brackets are straight forward; set approx 32" apart per the directions, predrill 3 holes per bracket, into studs and use the bolts and washers to secure. Pretty easy. Now, my studs are a weird length apart from where I wanted to mount them, so I had to go into dry wall. I used drywall anchors- very sturdy ones and I don't plan on storing anything near the limit of the shelves. So far, so good. One viewer wrote about how sharp the actual shelves are and they're right. It just so happens I mounted these next to my backdoor in my garage and as you go down the stairs, you become about level with the shelf. The bottom shelf is mounted about eye level and I'm 5'11. They stick out quite a bit...more than I was expecting and I had to zip tie a towel to the corner in fear of someone smoking their face on it. The corners are sharp and each cross wire sticks out...not ideal at all.The directions are pretty bad. I'm a very mechanically inclined person, so it wasn't as much of a problem with me but you need to be careful how you install the shelves on the bracket, otherwise you could bend the bracket, like some people experienced. The shelves are a little odd in that sense. I also hate how the shelves don't secure into the brackets....at all. They just slide around. Also not ideal; you get about 2-3 inches of play in either side. The bracket that comes with it to secure the shelf to the wall does just that; secures it to the wall to protect it from slide back and forth....but that's not a problem because it sits in grooves on the bracket. The issue is sliding left-to-right.So, overall, I think these shelves are fine. I'm on the fence about whether or not they're worth the money. You're paying for a hefty product...not really a good designed product. My 3 stars is more about the poor directions for those who aren't mechanically inclined and sort of the way they sit in the bracket, etc.

Minus one star for lack of mentioning that step in instructions.
This is an item that I absolutely needed in my garage. I tried looking for shelving locally, but neither Lowes or Home Depot carried anything that seemed worth it. I checked out a couple of items on Amazon, and this one was included. I added it to my wish list and looked at it a few times because it had very good ratings, and would be a perfect fit in my one-car garage. The other item was too long. I've listed a few of the pros and cons regarding these shelves below:Pros:1). Super sturdy. I weigh about 195 pounds and used one of them to do a borderline dip, and it didn't budge! The screws are all thick and sturdy as well! But you MUST use studs, or other comparable stabilizing force.2). Super-quick (as in two-day) shipment. POW!!! LOL!!! XD3). Nice color4). Everything was included; nothing missing and no need to contact customer serviceCons:1). Set up was not as easy as expected (see explanation below)2). Too expensive3). May also need a ratchet set; impact drill wasn't enough for the larger screws**Honorable Mention** It smelled like laundry detergent and had a white, powdery substance on/in the box? I don't get that one, but I digress... the items were wrapped tightly, and nothing was scuffed, damaged. (=So, my overall rating is four stars because of the 'difficulty' in setting the shelves up. Everything was in place, the brackets were set up, I only had to install the shelves. That was the most difficult part because they didn't fit easily. I had to turn around and remove the top-most screw on the left (for each bracket) to make room for the shelves to slide in as depicted in the directions. There was absolutely no way in the world those shelves would've fit with that screw in the way. NONE!! If I wasn't so tired and dehydrated, I would've returned the shelves for a daggone refund! I was disappointed that the directions made no mention of that part, and I hope no one else has to go through the same thing I did. What should've took a few minutes to complete took much, muuuuuuuuuch longer. If everything was perfect, then 5 stars would've been chosen. Unfortunately, the setup was not as easy as expected. Minus one star for lack of mentioning that step in instructions. I read the other reviews, and no one else mentioned it... maybe it's just me, but I'm a DIY guy that's not been worn out by many projects... luckily, I tried it out, and it worked out just fine. Screw back in place, shelves slid left to right, but that was halted after installing the smaller two-screw bracket.Overall, they're a very nice set of shelves. Looking forward to making use of them; I just set them up tonight. I did not include an image because they're exactly as depicted on Amazon.Hope this helps! (=

Great shelf. Hints for installing.
Very pleased with this solid, strong shelf. Takes time to install, but worth it when finished. Very important to drill the pilot holes in accurate spot and not tilted as these factors can cause installing the bolts to be very difficult! Suggest making a template out of cardboard to exactly locate the pilot holes, as the shelf brackets are not easy to keep in place when marking for drilling holes. Would be helpful if the manufacturer provided a template to make the installation easier and quicker. Some reviewers had trouble mounting the shelf onto the brackets as the installation bolts block the slot closest to the wall. This was a problem for me too when trying to install by putting the shelf into the slot at the end of the bracket first, then trying to fit it into the other two slots. I couldn’t get it to work! My solution was to install using the slot closest to the wall first. I had to put the end of the shelf into the slot closest to the wall on one bracket, then slide the shelf to the other end to get it into the closest slot on both brackets. Tilting the shelf at an angle helped. Next, I flexed the end of one bracket and the shelf slid into the bracket slot slot furthest from the wall. (Ok to adjust the shelf position a few inches to allow space to flex bracket so it fits I nto the slot). Did the same for the other bracket, then adjusted the shelf position slightly to finish.Highly recommend!
