Possibly not 40 denier
Good tights, bought for my daughter for school. They’re quite thin though and I wouldn’t suggest that they’re 40 denier (they’re possibly less, maybe 30…? So they were more opaque than expected). They might get a wear or two a pair as they’re quite delicate.

Too small
Have bought these for my wife a number of times as she likes (liked) the fit. However the most recent packs seemed grossly undersized compared to previous orders and she could only just get them to thigh level. She had a few pairs bought previously and it was clear that the new ones were smaller. The seller did offer to replace but doesn't seem worth it when she's tried on 2 of the 5 and there's no guarantee any replacements would fit better. Guess she'll have to look elsewhere which is a shame as there are not many navy tights she likes and fit like these used to.
