I previously had the Lifeproof case and loved it (it got used and was pretty much trashed by the end of 2 years).I like this case for the price, however a couple cons are the reason I'm only giving it 3 stars.CONS:1. The edge of the case directly around the screen is beveled out, making it really difficult to swipe to the top or bottom of the screen. Lifeproof was smooth all the way to the edge of the phone2. The bottom charge port is a flimsy rubber and it snapped off within 3 days of using it! Very disappointed in the design of the bottom charge/audio port. Lifeproof had a snap shut port with a rubber seal underneath the snap.3. The silent toggle switch is ridiculously hard to close, it has never worked right and I need to just turn it on the Do Not Disturb setting because I can't get it muted fast enough. Bummer.PROS:1. Price!2. Works as great protection from drops and bumps. The screen is holding up well and not scratching much. The ID button works well (which surprised me): for minor spills, rain, etc I trust this case. Because of how flimsy the port is, I would never attempt to take underwater like my Lifeproof.Overall a good price for the level of protection you get in this case. But you get what you pay for (; happy shopping!

Bought this case as a precaution for any accidental sink/toilet/pool dropping, in hopes that I never need it.Did the submersing test and both cases I bought passed great, not willing to press my luck with a "test" on my phone under water though.Like the info on this listing states, audio quality is diminished due to a fully enclosed case, but not horribly. The only real issue I have with this case is the hard shell portion of the case overlaps my screen slightly and makes it difficult to access/press or swipe from the far edges of the screen. For most uses this isn't a noticeable problem, but once in awhile it gets annoying.Still, awesome product for the price($19.99)

The membranes which keep it waterproof vibrate unless you are using a bluetooth and make a horrible buzzing noise that is irritating to you and the person you are speaking with. Tried several different lightning pin cords that would not fit through the case. Case covers part of the sreen which makes it harder to type and harder to pull down or swipe up to access quick buttons easily. If your main concern is waterproofing and you don't need quick/easy functionality and a low price this is the case for you. I run a business from my phone while also running a different business around water so this is not the case for me.

I really loved this case and purchased 3 for all the new Iphone users in the family. However came to find out a minor glitch with the product in that we were unable to receive or place calls with the case on the phone. Took some trial and error to figure out what the issue was and finally brought the phone down to ATT and they are the ones that determined the phones AOK, the phone when installed in the case (which I still LOVE and hated to return) was causing the issue. Hoping Merit finds a way to solve this issue as the cases are really great.

Excellent all the way around. Only a couple problems were that the fingerprint plastic got a little loose and has a wrinkle so it makes it difficult sometimes to read fingerprint but it's not so bad that it makes it annoying. Also, the plastic covers for the headphones and charger are a single piece and not attached to the case so they can get lost easily if not careful. Last problem is that the charger slot is deep and so I can only use the original charger for my phone while the case is on, it would be nice if it came with an extension to the charger and not just the auxiliary cable. Other than that I absolutely love it, especially the stand. The case is lightweight especially if you think about how protected it is inside the case. I have had otter of in the past and this is much better, especially the texture of the case, easy to grip :)

I had rec. a defective case but the customer care that I rec. and the prompt service of how this company made it right. Was amazing if you have read any doubts about buying this case rest assured it is a great case my granddaughters love it. my sister also purchased 3 for her grandkids the older kids love the colors and kick stand. I love that it has a deattachable handle making it easy if you hands are full. Nice slim case easy to hold and text with one hand my sister said her's had a little noise issue but it went away after a couple of days. And you cant beat the amazing service of the company.. GREAT JOB!! I will be picking up one soon for my 6 plus

This case is lovely, but it stinks, it makes a funky noise like some one is pushing on a piano key over and over again, I have tried anything and everything to make that annoying sound go away! But nothing so far, and this case would be water proof if they paid more close attention to where the finger print is. I was just lazy to send the case back and wait for a new one, so my fault I guess, but since my I-phone 6 had no case when i got this in, I was not going to risk the safety of my phone until i got a new one back. It was child proof for like 2 weeks, but my 4 year old can have some tantrums at times, now my finger print scanner area rarely reads but until I receive my new cases, I have no problem punching in the numbers. Oh, also I don't like the head phones plug in, it stopped working so great after about a month or so, and i don't listen to music with a head phone set that often, usually just at work every now and then.. I am switching cases...

When the case is one, it's very hard to hear when talking on the phone. Even the person I'm talking to has a hard time hearing me. The case is off my phone more than it is on. Does seem to fit snuggly around my phone, so it does seem protected. Just can't hear anyone.
