I really love this thing!
Use my scooter daily to get from School to Work and often back [since the parking for school is MUCH cheaper!] - So glad I went with this one over the Razor A5 - Looked at one in a local store and I can see how they would get high-centered easily. The clearance on the EXOOTER is higher and I love the tires/shocks! I can go right over the light-rail tracks or sidewalk treads without missing a beat. Cruising downhill is so fun\relaxing when paired with my tunes that I often opt to use a stop several blocks further than necessary, just for more cruising time! Upon arrival, one smooth motion and have it folded, latched and swung over my shoulder. So much easier to take on buses/trains than a bike! Double Plus Bonus: with the handles dropped the whole thing fits in a standard size locker! I don't have to leave it with all the bikes. Not to mention my husband has certainly noticed the Pilaties-like effect it's been having as my daily "workout" too!

Not for people over 220lbs or if u use it for a commute
I will start by saying I was conflicted on whether to give this one stars or two. I decided 2 because although I was very disappointed with the product.. it may work in a less active situation. So my husband commutes to and from the seattle ferry to his work building (roughly a mile) and walking was ok but found himself rushing everyday. So I decided to look into adult scooters as a way of still getting exercise but also covering ground faster. I did a lot of research and found the top rated xootr scooter was backordered... so we decided to give this a try. It was difficult to find a scooter rated for 250lbs.. my husband is 250lbs and 6'4".. this one said it would hold 250lbs so I ordered it.. it came in a few days, looked good and was easy to fold... my husband tightened the bolts and used it the next day. He was pretty happy with it but noticed it would "bottom out" riding on some unlevel surfaces. He thot it was strange since it was rated for 250lbs and it seemed like it wasn't supporting his weight the way he expected. But he figured it was just the way it was.. so after riding it for a couple days, he had one of the handle bar bolts break while riding and fall off.. he then realized the grip on the deck was already bubbling up.. the rear brake worked but not that great...and the deck space was small for his large feet.. so he did some digging further into the owners manual.. and found out that the scooter is actually rated at 220lbs and is marketed wrong here.. he tried to contact the company but didn't get a reply.. so he ended up ordering the XOOTR MG scooter direct from the manufacturer.. it was almost 300 dollars but exceeded this scooter on every level. Personally, we recommend if you are a commuter and want a long lasting scooter.. buy the XOOTR MG.. the reason I gave it 2 stars is if you were not be commuting and just leisure riding.. it may do fine.. also if your over 220lbs.. don't try this scooter.. the xooter mg has a great deck, glides better, has a 800lb capacity, has a front brake also and is lighter by almost 3lbs (doesn't sound like much but when you carry it everyday every extra lb saved is good).. it's more expensive.. but buy once cry once.. spend the extra money and get a better quality scooter..

Good, but get a set of berings too.
After several weeks I can say this was about what I expected. Scooter has done well on a one mile commute each direction, and is fairly comfortable on uneven sidewalks. I am taking away a star because the wheel bearings included were really bad. If spun the wheel would stop after 45 seconds. I replaced the bearings with reds scateboard berings and the wheel would spin for more than 8 minutes. That is a notable difference in the amount of energy it takes you to keep it moving. They use 806 scateboard berings and are easy to replace, and my set was under $20 for two changes worth. But for the price of the scooter you would think they could throw on a decent set.

Great scooter. Great price.
This is a well constructed scooter. Clean and slick looking. Dual suspension is a big plus. Smooth ride and fast.I did have one problem. The spring loaded button you need to press to adjust the height of the handle bars pushed into the neck to adjust the height of the handlebars didn't engage back into place in any of the holes to position it's height. There is a clamp that does secure the height of the bars solidly, just like those that secure seat posts on bicycles. I'm hoping this won't be a safety issue, but I don't plan on applying pressure onto the handle bars so I don't anticipate that as a problem. I could've returned the item for a refund, but the scooter is so good, I can work around it.The price was perfect for what your getting. And the shipping was really quick. That could be because it was shipped from S. California to where I live in N. California, so figure if your living in another part of the country further away from California add a couple more days... I do recommend this item.Update: the spring-loaded button on the neck to secure the handlebars I happen to fix on my own so now there is no problems now. It's great.I've taken it all over the place. I did not receive a discount or this item for free for my review. No company ever gave me that type of love on Amazon.😂

ready fun and solid made scooter
love the scooter it is my size. i am 6' 1", So the cheap scooters are too low for me to ride. the suspension on this one is awesome. yeah it is heavier then most scooters. but i dont do tricks or jump things. read a few reviews about the barring being no the best. for 140 to 150 dollars you not going to get the best ones on the market. but you can easily change those out. i have yet to try it. if you an adult and want to go out and ride sccoters with your kids then this is one is pretty cool.

Nice Smooth Ride
Nice Smooth Ride. When folded down it fits nicely in the frunk (front trunk) of the Telsa Model S. That makes it very handy for a short ride to lunch while Supercharging. The large wheels and suspension ride over normal sidewalk bumps comfortably.
