Boba Classic Baby Carrier, Mist

I searched high and low for a carrier to replace our Moby wrap. We still love the Moby, but now that our son is 24lbs, 32"high, active & harder to front carry, we decided it was time for something else. After reading reviews I decided to try the Boba. I loved the fabric and color as soon as I opened the box. It's lightweight, but sturdy & nice to the touch. After using the Moby for the past year, the Boba feels bulky, but definitely secure and does seem to distribute the weight well. It was awkward getting my little one in & out at first, but after just a few uses I'm now able to get my 14-month son in and out with ease. He's content to be in the carrier while I do housework or go for a walk & has even fallen asleep in the carrier. I'm still getting used to the back-carry, but my son seems comfortable and I haven't had any back or shoulder pain during or after carrying. It seems like a high-quality carrier & we are looking forward to putting it through it's paces in the coming months and years!

This carrier is fantastic. I got it when my daughter was a newborn but delayed reviewing it because I wanted to see how well it held up as she got bigger. She's 8 months old now and the Boba has yet to disappoint. First of all, it's really easy to put on. Once you figure it out the first time, you can do it again with no difficulty. It is much more adjustable than most of the other carriers out there, as you can just tighten and loosen the shoulder and back straps to fit your specific frame. I am a top-heavy woman of average height and my husband is a tall skinny guy and we can both wear this quite easily. It is about as comfortable as you can hope to get with a little person strapped to your chest, and it is a lot easier on my back than other carriers I've tried. The baby is well-supported and you can easily do things with both your hands while front-carrying.The included extras make this carrier really special. It's great that they included a removable newborn seat-- that was actually one of the main reasons I chose this over the Ergo, as you have to buy theirs separately. It also includes a sleeping hood, which was especially nice for when my baby was really little and spent most of her time sleeping. I also really love the strap that's included that you can use to lock your purse/small diaper bag into place. It makes a huge difference in my comfort when travelling with my baby and toddler, when I don't have my purse constantly slipping off my shoulder and flinging around every which way.Also, it's really, really cute. I got the "tweet" pattern and it looks even nicer in person, with lovely, rich colors that are appropriate for boys and girls alike. I love this carrier, and will continue to use it until my child has completely outgrown it. I wish I had bought one of these for my first child, too, but I'm thrilled to have it for my second and will definitely use it again if I have a third. Wonderful product!

I am in love with this carrier!! The infant insert/pillow that it comes with worked wonderfully for my infant son. I have used this from newborn age and it went through his growing stages perfectly. I recently have started wearing him on my back and he loves it! A little difficult to get him in my back by myself but I think that's just user inexperience more than anything!! The hood on this is very nice also. Because of where it snaps onto the carry, it covers his face a little more than I would like sometimes. But I snap it across on the opposite shoulder snap and then it doesn't cover his face or head as much.The pockets it has on it are not very big. I have a LG g2 phone and I have a hard time getting it to fit in the pockets.It has the little pocket to roll the hood into but I find that to be quite bulky right behind his head. I prefer to just take it off and keep it in the diaper bag.Buckles and straps are easliy adjustable and work very well. The chest strap can be adjusted up or down which is nice to be able to move it depending on whether I'm wearing him on the front or back. That strap can also be tightened.The pattern is a rich brown that is pretty, colorful and bold. It could be gender neutral for sure. Only down side is it picks up lint very bad. When I wash it, it is pretty covered in fuzz/lint. But a sticky roller can fix that. The fabric is a stiffer type material, almost like a carhart jacket feel. But it's very comfortable and it didn't take long to be soft and flexible.It's very comfortable wearing on the front or back for long periods of time. I've worn it at the zoo and around the house and I have yet to feel tired or sore from wearing it. The weight feels well distributed and even.

My 5 month old son is a different baby when he is beign carried around in the Boba... he is not fussy or in a bad mood, he just babbles and smiles! The old carrier I had from Infantino was very uncomfortable for me and I'm assuming for my baby as well, he would get overwhelemed and his head would flap sometimes. I have grown to love this product so much. I use it around the house to do dishes, laundry, clean up all while my baby is calmly in my arms and enjoying himself.Before buying this, I researched heavily and was down to the Boba, Beco Butterfly II, ErgoBaby and BabyHawk Oh Snap. I decided the Boba was best for me but I was open to returning it if it wasnt what I expected. I was most worried about the sizing as I am barely 5'2" and 100lbs with a small waist. Even thought hey say the smallest waist adjustment is 28", that has to be wrong because my waist is 25" and the tightest setting was way too tight for me. My husband who is 6' and 180lbs is able to wear this comfortably as well and we go back and forth between the two of us with ease, literally just seconds. The double strap adjustment is sort of what sold me on this. You just pull on both sides for all the various adjustments and it ensures an even and comfortable fit. Another feature that I like is that baby can sit higher up closer to my face and also the back of the carrier is a bit higher so that it supprts a smaller baby's head. I don't use the hood much so I like that it snaps off as well, along witht he footstraps as my baby is only 5 months old now.All in all, this has been a great buy for me and I am done looking for baby carriers!

Voy a ser sincera pedí esta y otra marca (ergobaby, esta última con un material muy transpirable pero nada suave). La estoy utilizando desde el nacimiento (en la foto es del primer día, y el bebé está dormido). Es super fácil y cómoda de usar. Es elástica y cómoda, se encaja fácilmente al cuerpecito del bebé. Tiene un cojín para usar desde el nacimiento hasta los 4.5kg (que se une para tener mejor apoto) y luego hasta los 7 kg (sin unir el cojin). A partir de los 7kg se quita. Yo debo reconocer que con mi hijo mayor intente hacer porteo pero compre una mochila de chicco, la cual no le dejaba movimiento de los brazos y se agobiaba...por lo que la devolví. En cambio con esta podeis dar hasta el pecho, mientras porteais (y nadie se da cuenta, jaja). A las malas, si por algún caso no os convence (que lo dudo mucho) siempre puedes devolverlo sin problemas con Amazon y te devolverán el dinero de forma integra.

I have tried many carriers/slings/wraps... This is by far my favourite now my baby is getting heavier!I bought it once my baby was 4 months so can't comment on how it is for a newborn, but I do like that you don't have to buy a separate insert for it. I loved my Caboo Close dx for the newborn age, but as my baby has got heavier I found my back was hurting if I wore it for more than 30 mins.With the Boba my back doesn't hurt, my baby is happier in it for longer.A big bonus is that as it is much simpler to put on than the Caboo, my husband will now happily carry our baby around without needing my help to get him in.

This was my second baby carrier, the first one was a stretchy sling which I never managed to keep in the right position: it stretched itself and my LO ended up on my lower belly after a few minutes. This one keeps the baby in the right place all the time and it's not too hard at the same time. It's also quite easy to put on. My baby daughter seems to like it, too, although she cries a bit only the moment when I put her in and also when I take the sling off and put her down after the walk. I also like the pattern with the little birds.

I Really wanted to 'wear my baby' but because I have a large bust it's not very comfortable. Very hot too.I liked the design but because I wanted to use it in the summer I realised it would feel quite hot being a dark colour. I did return.

Easy to use and well made. I like the fact it takes you from newborn to toddler. Also it caters for smaller framed women like myself as well as my husband who is very tall. Worth every cent.
