Good cable - shame about the software!
What has been said previously about this cable is correct. The cable is good, although mine doesn't charge my V600i like it says it should, but that's not serious. What IS serious is the fact that the software just doesn't work. So I do what everyone else says you should do and download the Sony Ericsson PC Suite software from their web-site (which is free), and which includes Sony Ericsson File Manager. As soon as that fairly meaty software is loaded and running, no problem at all - PC recognises phone and allows two-way transfer, etc. Not the fastest, but perfectly usable, etc. So why, if the download is free, doesn't Sony Ericsson put that good software on the CD that comes with the cable, instead of the duff stuff that is supplied on the CD? Answer: I don't know, but it's a shame that a good phone and a potentially good accessory is spoilt by this rather silly and short-sighted inadequacy. If this is the cable that your SE phone needs, then buy it (I got mine from Harrow Electronics - an Amazon Marketplace seller, and there was no problem at all), and, while you're waiting the day or two for delivery, download the PC Suite from the SE web-site. You'll be up and running within 20 minutes, maybe less, when you connect the cable and the phone to your PC.

ACE!!!
This is just a joke!! Ignore the nice picture everyone! The CD that came with mine wasn't even for Sony Ericsson (it was for Motorola and would not work in any other language than Spanish) and my cable wasn't even a real DCU 11!!! No wonder it's only 1 flippin p. (actually about £140 with all the postage and packing!) But apart from that I thought it was a fantastic deal and I highly recomend it to anyone who is interested.

Not working
I have tried and retried to get this to work with both of my Sony Ericsson phones and with no luck, it wont coordinate, and I am not sure what I need to do. I presumed that by setting up and following the wizard, this would work..can anyone help me please if they have ahd the same problem. I didnt pay a lot for this cable..thank goodness!!

Crummy lead
I got this lead ages ago when I had a cheap Sony Ericsson phone that needed updating. Not the best purchase I have ever made and I seem to recall it was not good at doing what I wanted, i.e. making a decent link to my computer. Not sure it is worth recommending at all.

NOT COMPATIBLE
My complaint is very simple, on the compatibility list my phone model the Aino is listed. This quite simply is not compatible.Im not going to chase you for a couple of quid but people should have the correct info listed.
