Replacement Glass DAB Digital Car Stereo Radio Aerial Antenna The antenna films are designed to fit discretely to the corner of the front screen of the vehicle in order to minimise obstruction to the drivers view. The antenna is supplied with an amplifier that is attached to the film. 3m of cable is then supplied to connect to your DAB Digital Radio. Please note these glass antennas are not compatible with windscreens that have a heat reflective coating - this normally shows up as an oily purple tint. Also if fitting to a heated windscreen you will need to fit it without going over the metal heating elements in the glass. Installation Adhesion Notes For best adhesive performance make sure the glass is clean before application, if you clean it also make sure it is dry. If cold it helps to heat the windscreen glass also with the car heater / blower. Installation Signal Performance If signal is poor please check you are in a location that gets a good DAB signal and that you have followed the instructions about removing any paintwork from the A pillar for a metal on metal connection for the earthing tab. NB: This antenna will not convert a standard FM radio to DAB. Your car stereo will need to have a DAB tuner already for this antenna to get you a DAB signal.
