USB Rechargeable Salt & Pepper Grinder, Adjustable Coarseness

I love these salt and pepper grinders, I think I have finally found the perfect set. This is my fifth set (salt and pepper) of spice mills in the past 5 years. I love to cook and fresh ground salt and pepper just made sense. We are older and are very careful with our things. The first set was a manual set - they still work but they aggravated my carpal tunnel. The second set was Wolfgang Puck battery operated (~$45) and it got real expensive replacing 6 AA batteries. Also the acrylic spice reservoir broke within 6 months. It has little 1/8” tabs to hold it to the grinding body which broke off. So I bought a second set to have replacement spares for this set. Once they too broke (acrylic tabs) I was searching for a better solution. I decided that if I spent more money I would get a more durable product, so I did. The forth set was Cuisinart with a rechargeable base (~$75). This was much cheaper in the long term because I no longer purchased batteries and the rechargeable base gave them a tidy home on my table. However, the reservoir was small and ACRYLIC, and again broke within a year, we had to tape it shut which looked awful on my table; but because I spent so much, I was determined to get my moneys worth and use them til they died completely. Also the contacts on the spice mills and rechargeable stand eventually stopped making contact with each other. My husband fixed them several times until only one side of the base would charge at a time, and the final straw was when only one spice mill would charge. It was time to replace them. I was not going to buy a second expensive set bc the quality was not better than the WP set. Finally I found this set, it has a glass reservoir that screws on (genus)! No acrylic tabs to break! And there is no charging base to stop working as they come with 2 USB chargers, one for each spice mill. They have a ceramic grinding head (more durable), and adjustable course ness of the grind. Love this set!

We've owned these now for about 2 years, only charged them a few times yet use them daily and many times a day. We've filled them many times too.. My wife loves lots of BBQ and I've been using these on all our prep, as well as for the dinner table use, what ever the use they really do save your wrists! I can't say enough about this product and how happy we are with them. I recommend these to everyone! Get a set for your kids, your cousins, aunts, uncles, everyone that eats food will enjoy using these! Hope yours work as well as ours have.. I sent some for Christmas presents this year! BUT.......BUT!!! we've had to re-order a new set because I keep breaking the glass container. This would be the perfect set if it came in STAINLESS STEEL !Yesterday, my wife broke the salt container, we have 3 tops and no bottoms! The pepper one is still hanging in there... But it is glass and durability in a busy kitchen is not as long as if it were made out of STAINLESS STEEL!! Are there stainless steel bottle replacements available? Please say yes! and let me know where to get them because I love the tops, they are workhorses! and I'm just not ready to buy another full set when I have 3 perfectly good working tops! Any help in finding replacement STAINLESS steel bottoms would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.. Q.

This is my 3rd set of grinders and the only one that truly grinds finely. I love cooking with salt and pepper, but my kids do not enjoy biting into chunks of it. This set allows us to enjoy the flavor without the surprise bite. I cook daily, and use them often, but still only charge them about once every 3-4 months. They charge quickly and I never turn them off because of how frequently I use them.Due to the fine grind setting I have it on, it takes longer to get larger quantities for big batches of food. Bonus is, I don’t over season the food, and everyone gets to adjust their own dish when they eat.I’ve had these for a year and purchased a set for my parents and sister who have arthritis but love fresh ground salt and pepper. They love them as well.Great quality, reasonable price, and energy efficient. Highly recommend!

I bought this set for a friend who likes to eat at home; it is an elegant pair and ensures easy fresh grinding of salt and pepper for each person. The battery charger is easy to use; it is nice to have fresh pepper with one hand and not having to twist anything. The light is very useful when cooking, too. This pair was a good buy and the gift recipient was delighted.

I went to refill my black pepper and found the outside of the grinder came apart from the plastic underneath, slicing off the power button and exposing the guts. I didn't have it tightened down so much it should have done that, but the glue didn't hold. Also, I found a good half tablespoon or so of peppercorns inside the machine itself, outside of where they should have been.This is one of the best purchases I have made for the kitchen, because grinding pepper messes up my crappy wrists after a while, and is so tedious. I almost never have to charge them: they just go forever.I LOVE these things, but the one grinder didn't last a full year. I managed to get the thing back together, but the wire came off the led light, and the outer shell still moves around. I worry about the next time I need to refill it, and also about pepper getting in the charging port.

First let me say, I have yet to actually use this grinder. I'm writing because I was so impressed by the packaging. Not only the box-in-a-box fit, but also the "retail shelf" packaging itself. There is very little chance this item will arrive damaged. There was great care taken in designing the packaging of this item. This makes me think it'll grind great (once I'm done charging it). I appreciate the spoons and collapsable funnels that were included. It'll make the item easy to fill. I ended up buying this grinder because the first one I ordered arrived cracked - due to insufficient packaging. I'm kind of glad the first one cracked, because this one is a cut above.
